For The Love of Solitude
It's strange how silence speaks. I was spending some time alone after Mass, quietly pondering or rather meditating over a book dedicated to The Blessed Sacrament. Two people came. The first came saying, " Father, I haven't made a confession in years. After I lost my mum, i thought if God couldn't preserve the nicest person in my life, why should I love God and I want to return to Him now. Would you hear my Confession? Every Sunday I see you silent, praying and meditating throughout the Mass and after." I comforted the lad and led him to the Priest. But what he said after that quite stuck with me. "It would be an honour to call you Father and receive Communion from your hands. I don't know why you aren't a Priest." While it was very comforting to hear, I smiled and shrugged it off.
